Sally Johanne Morck

Sally Johanne Morck, February 18, 1939- April 27, 2022, Sally Johanne Morck, passed away in Bountiful, Utah, on April 27, 2022, from natural causes.   Born in Aalborg, Denmark to Elmer Georg and Mary Birgette Pedersen Mork.  

Sally grew up in Denmark with one brother.  At the age of 9, her family emigrated to Salt Lake City, Utah.   Sally graduated from West High School.  Sally married Reid Greene Mock on November 14, 1958, in the Salt Lake Temple.   Together, they raised 4 children.  

A Mother who loved her 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.  Sally loved working in her vegetable garden and loved to grow zucchini and tomatoes.  Sally loved to bake zucchini bread, cookies, and loved to make unexpected visits to the neighbors to drop off her baked goods.

Sally was very proud of her work at O.C. Tanner for over 25 years.   

Survived by; children: Cherie (Richard) McCarty, Reid Greene Morck, Jr, (“Rusty”), Nancy (Brandon) Jones, Audrey Morck; Cherished Grandchildren: Aston McCarty, Courtney McCarty, Megen Balk, Isabelle Farmer, Katelynn Jones, Caroline Morck, Nathan Jones, William Morck.  Cherished Great Grandchildren: Theo Balk, Harvey Balk, Knox McCarty, Teagan McCarty. 

Funeral program will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Holbrook Mortuary, (3251 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City, Utah 84109), with a viewing from 11:00 – 1:00 PM, prior to the service, Holbrook Mortuary. Graveside services will be at 1:30 with the internment at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
