Wendy Jane Bailey, age 68, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, surrounded by love. She was born in Newport Beach, California, on July 17, 1957. Wendy lived her life as a journey of kindness and connection. Along the way, she met friends who became family, and she carried each of them in her heart. Her warmth, laughter, and thoughtful spirit touched everyone she encountered. She loved her family deeply and found joy in the time they shared together. Her love of being a moon child reflected a deep spiritual connection to the moon and its energy and creativity. She will be remembered for the beautiful and simple ways she cared for others.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Betty Kelly; her brother, Robert (Steve) Kelly; her sister, Terry Wilkins; her children Valissa (Jake) Ward, Jayson (Angie) Bailey, Michael (Cortnie) Hayes, and Ryan (Stephanie) Hayes; her eighteen grandchildren: Hannah, Ethan, Cree, Gage, Sofia, Vinny, Browdy, Payton, Emily, Adalyn, Kadyn, Kayla, Kaisley, Isaac, Echo, Lucas, Cyrus, and Titus; three great-grandchildren; her nieces and nephew; her lifelong friend, Julie “Jules” Larsen (Kirk); and her bonus children, Ashley and Jordan Larsen.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Brent Bailey “Huns,” and her father, Robert Kelly.
Her journey has ended, but her light continues in the many hearts she touched.
She will be buried at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California. A celebration of life will be held in her honor at a later date.
