Getting close to three years. and every now and then I pass by here to see if anyone else has paid a visit or left a note.

I miss my old mate. Mostly we go about our lives and often think fondly of the loved ones we have lost. But there are those times we feel a fresh and more acute hollowness: that is where I am today, missing my mate, my brother. You were unique and irreplaceable, Andy. Love you mate.

Dear Jen,
Lee and I were so sad to hear of your husband's passing. We were always so happy for you that you found love and someone to share your life with. Though we didn't know him, your Andy sounds like a wonderful guy. Our thought and prayers go out to you at this hard time.

Dear Jen,
We were devastated to hear the news about Andy and we can't stop thinking about him. Helping us find our condo, he was more than our real estate agent. He was our friend -- our first in Park City. And he wanted us to love his town.
I'll never forget him calling me at home in Ohio, (long after we bought), telling me he was sitting looking out the window watching it snow. He was just checking in. He made us feel honored.
As we walk down Main Street, we will be looking for Andy's face for a long time to come.

As a prospective client, I did not know Andy more than the few times we saw properties together. But through the telephone and email, he was a genuine and sincere guy. He wanted me to only buy when I was ready and what suited me. A rare bird in the RE business. A great guy in the PC world. God bless.

Dear Family...Andy was a delight to my world in the early days of Park City. He was always so much fun to be around whether we were on the slopes or the golf course or on Main Street, his infectious smile could be seen from afar. I thank him for being apart my growing up in Park City and allowing all of us to flourish in this beautiful community. Sending warm thoughts and blessings to help the healing journey. i am so sad that you are no longer with us. You were my first and became my closest friend in Park City. I will aways remember your contagious smile and generosity. More importantly, you were a great husband and father. Your desire to love and care for Jen and the kids was so evident. You will always be looking over them. Mate, you were a special person and will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to be part of your life.

Jen,
Devastated to hear the news of Andy's passing. Just devastated. He was a 1 in a Million guy. May God be with you and the boys in the days ahead until our great reunion.

Andy passed through many people's lives in his 54 years and made numerous lifetime friends. I was lucky enough to be his best friend through High School. We called ourselves the Barricador Buddies, and in some recent emails that we exchanged where we talked about his struggles, that's how we signed off. He had something unique that set him apart from normal people - he was really funny, genuinely caring and interested in people, he was crazy passionate about the stuff he liked, he was obsessive and determined, ridiculously talented in whatever he pursued.

But of everyone I know in life, I'd trust him to have my back, because he is a damn loyal friend to the end. I could tell you hours of stories about some fun and stupid stuff we did as kids, but Andy was always the one to know when 'enough was enough', and rein me in.

I know he was having some tough times and we'll never understand why that happened, but it did. His young family will now have to build their lives without him. The only consolation is that his kindness, his values, his sense of humour and fairness, and his fanatical determination to succeed will put you in good stead for your own lives. Never ever forget him - his legacy must live on. I love you barricader buddy!

Andy's warmth, smile, all-inclusive loving heart, enthusiasm, joy, and caring spirit enriched us every time we had the luck to be in his presence. He truly did light up any place he happened to be. In fact, he was one of the major reasons we ended up in Park City - where he will be truly missed. Peace to you - his family and friends.

I'm shattered by the loss of my dear friend, Andy. Thank you, Mate, for all of the good times, the comforting words in sad times, the gut-busting laughter at almost any time, and the joy of sharing a little bit of this crazy journey called life with a man like you. You will be missed more than mere words could ever express.. I love you, Bro.

Dear Jen, Jackson, Roscoe, Marcus and Jonas,
We are deeply moved at hearing of the loss of Andy. Our paths crossed so many times, from when Rowan and Jackson were at pre-school together to years later when Wesley and Marcus were pre-schoolers. From room parents to the Kamas pool to social activities in town, our families saw a lot of each other. I will always remember how much he loved Jen and what a devoted father he was.. Our prayers are with you as we grieve his loss together. May God Bless Park City with his mercy as we bear so many trials lately.

Since learning of the passing of the passing of one of my dearest and oldest friends, the shock has given way to a deep aching and emptiness that will not be filled. To all the family; those I know, those I don't, to you four young men, my heart is breaking with yours. This beautiful soul and lover of people won the hearts of whoever he met. We have all been so blessed as to have been among those closest to him.

There are a few songs we always sang together that always bring you close, Andy. They will do all the more now, mate.
