I am sorry to hear about Mrs Timothy. I was a student of hers at William Penn and she was the most memorable one I had. She was the first teacher to make me feel important and gave me confidence...she believed in me and that made a huge difference for me. Her patience and kindness will always be remembered.

Mrs Timothy was one of my favorite elementary school teachers. I remember that she was always such a kind person. I will never forget her directing the school play that my sister and I were proud to be a part of in 1984.

I was one of a family of teachers from William Penn who loved Ann for who she was and for what she could accomplish. When Ann retired, I was given the opportunity to fill her spot in the 6th grade. I knew I was being asked to step into some mighty big shoes. Ann was loved by students, patrons, and staff members; therefore, she still holds a place in our hearts and memories. May you know she was a women of dedication and love that will remain with you as you celebrate her life well-lived.

My thoughts are with the Timothy family at this time. My dear parents just passed this past month and we had the funeral on Saturday. I was saddened to hear of the Ann's passing. I have such fond memories of the Timothy family from our days in the 27th Ward. You are in my thoughts at this time.
