For my Facebook Friend Brook Knudson I am sad we lost touch and I am heartbroken I didn't know of your passing for so very long.
I assumed, wrongly, your quietness on FB was due to pulling back for the sake of your health.
I have thought of you often over the last 2 years and remember you saying "I haven't heard from you lately. Are you angry with me about something?" my reply "No of course not Brook, I am just busy with my kids, my life and my garden." reply "I understand you are a great mom and I know you how you love your garden. Your photos of it make me smile."
RIP Dear Sweet Brook Knudson I will never forget you.
See you in heaven one day, you always said we were long lost sisters, kindred spirits with the same type of soul.

I grew up with the Knudsons, from California to Utah. Brook was like a little sister to me. Matt and I ran around together, and his family was mine as I felt. The only girl in the family, and did her mom and dad take pride in that. Now, as life reminds us how fragile life is, she slipped away before we were ready. I twirled baton with Brook when we were young. We would spend all day together goofing off waiting to compete. So many good memories of going to competitions especially a trip to Idaho with our moms and we had a flat tire on the freeway. What an adventure. Brook was so fun to be around!
