I enjoyed reading your father's obituary and learning about the connection to the Knight family. He must have been a wonderful man. I am also a direct decendant of Joseph Knight, Sr.. My grandmother was Ilean Knight Brunner who was the daughter of Miland Knight. He was the son of Joseph Knight, Jr.
There was a ten year difference between your father and me. Joseph Knight, Sr. was my Great-great-great grandfather.
We had some neighbors here in Monroe, Utah who were DeMille. Did you know Gale and Nancy DeMille? They spelled their last name with an "e", but we still found where our family lines connected with them.
The next time we are in Manti, I would like to see the adobe home.

Sincerely,
Linda Irons

Jan Hansen family, Thank you for the great memories.
Proud friends on McClelland Street. Wow what memories were made because of the Demill family. Hunting golf balls, playing basketball on your hoops, sleep overs, riding down to to Manti and to swim the irrigation ditches and pitchforking carp, I know that Don was just as much a kid as we were. We appreciate all that Don and Voniel and family has done for the Jan Hansen family. We will forever be grateful for knowing Don Demill and family. These couple of years while Jan and Don were doing the faithful jobs as home teachers my dad would laugh and say as they could barely walk to the doors and faithfully visit. I will always remember Don's welcoming smile that made you feel like you were that most important person in the world.
Thank you again

Dear Ted, Sherry, Terry, Jack & Troy,
I was so sad to hear of Uncle Don's passing. He was such a wonderful man, uncle, husband & dad! Growing up I loved coming to your house at Christmas; you always got such cool toys. I know your dad is happy to be with Aunt Voneil & everyone again but, he will be forever missed. I am so glad I was able to see him last October & give him one last hug & see his smile & twinkling eyes! I love you Uncle Don! I'll be thinking of you all on Tuesday, wish I could be there. I love you all, Danna

So sorry for your loss Terrie and family. There you were serving lunch to our family on Monday after my dads funeral. Then you lost your dad the next day. I had no idea you had roots with the Manti-Lasals and Ferron reservoir too. Hugs to your family at this time. It doesn't matter how old they are, it's hard to lose a parent.
