+We are so sorry to hear of our dear friend Bunny passing. Bunny and I grew up neighbors in Loa. we have many fond memories together, we shared an apartment in SLC when we were 15 and 16 years old and both worked up there. I would love to hear from some of the family. Ted, please contact me. my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Aunt Bunny has and ALWAYS will be special to my heart.......

In 2005 upon visiting her at her residence"out of the blue" she says "Michael I got something for you"....... she then handed over MY 1984 high school graduation invitation and memorabilia and said "go ahead and keep this I know this meant alot to you", it then just "melted" my heart how she actually KEPT that ALL THESE YEARS and REMEMBERED me! After all she has dozens of siblings to remember and look after and here I am a "distant" nephew FAR away not only in miles but also in time....... I swear from that day on during my nightly ritual prayer and goodnights she then came a fixture in all the names I mention nightly 365 nights a year. to this day forward.

I love you Aunt Bunny and you will ALWAYS be special in my heart FOREVER.

Love,

Michael D. Covington

Her many friends called her "Bunny" even knowing her given name was Burlene. Bunny rhymnes with sunny which describes her dispositioin to a "T." Bunny's family members who wrote her obituary described her as "exceptionally selfless, always putting other's wants and needs above her own. She never had a bad word to say about anyone and constantly found the positive in any situation" is so very 'Bunny.'. Her family knew her well.

Bunny and I grew up living across the street from each other in the beautiful Pioneer town of Torrey. Our fathers built and operated an open air dance pavilion which they named the Big Apple as it was situated in an apple orchard. Bunny's mom, Florence, made us twin dresses from apple-designed fabric which we wore to the grand opening. Bunny was my first dance partner. We were four and five years old. My fondest childhood memories include Bunny. You couldn't have had a better friend and we remained close for the remainder of our lives. How fortunate I was to have had such a special pal.

My Aunt Bunny's acts of Love, kindness and smiles will live in our hearts FOREVER.
The few moments in my life that I was able to share with her and Uncle Dale were priceless. They warmed my heart and made me a better person. They will forever be cherished. I know you are in Heavenly Fathers amazing grace and we will see you again Aunt Bunny.
Love, your Nephew,
Jimmy

Truly one of God's greatest creations, our sister Bunny. Always thoughtful, cheerful and kind, never diming a light or putting a shadow on anyone else's life. She was always a light when there was darkness. How wonderful she is and how fortunate we have been to be able to call her sister. We are so happy for her in her reunion with her husband Dale. We know she is still with us and will be always. What a legacy she has left for us through her children. Love you Sis -- Will be talking to you often.
