We express our sympathy and love in the passing of Jan. We enjoyed her many talents and especially her music and the Roadshow Era of the past, her quick wit and delightful smile. We enjoyed our association with both Jan and kay on a Stake level while serving as Stake Clerk. and the friendship we shared will be remembered with fondness. May God bless the Family! We send love and best wishes to the family. How we loved Kay and Jan. They were great examples of love, service, kindness, fun, generosity, commitment and many other choice virtues. We thank the family for sharing Jan and Kay with us as we served together in the leadership of Canyon Rim Stake for a season. We have such fond memories! In fact, her fudge cake and spaghetti sauce recipes still rule in our home. We can imagine a wonderful Valentine reunion taking place on another side of the veil. We are sad to realize the funeral will be when we are out of town on a long planned business trip. We pray that the funeral and viewing, though tender, will be a memorable celebration with family togetherness, fitting to honor to Dear Jan. Love, Russ and Nina and Family

How honored we were to have been friends with Jan in this life. Reading her life celebration, it reminded us of the extraordinary woman we came to know. We always felt welcomed in her home and at Bernson Family gatherings - often on those special Christmas Eves. Many times Jan postponed those gatherings while "Father Christmas Kay", "Elf Lisa" and other Bernson Elves would visit our home first to spread Christmas cheer to our four children who struggled with a rare form of muscular dystrophy. Even after our Chris and Shanna had passed away, Jan would call to check on Jason and Mark - even when she herself was recovering from her stroke. Jan and Kay are true examples of Christ-like love - a love they taught be example to each of their children and grandchildren. We are happy for the reunion that is happening now, and can only imagine it is one huge party!!! Her memory will remain with us, along with Kay's forever! All our love and prayers. Bill, Sherry, Mark, (Chris), Jason and (Shanna)

Oh I loved Aunt Janice! She was so fun, and I loved hearing her stories about her adventures. Especially the ones involving her Sisters, whales, and tuna sandwiches!

The world won't be the same without her. I wish I could be there. My love and sympathy to the family.

What a wonderful person, Mom and friend. I was a project of her countless hours in the Sports program in the Canyon Rim Stake. There was her, Pat Wells, and Sis. Morris. She was such a character with her quick wit. She taught Cappy and Lisa to always "be in it for the win." Steph didn't have quite that fire, a little more passive. She is so Happy to be out of a body that no longer served her and to be with her eternal companion. I am sad for all of you because of the heartache that you are going through. Your memories of her will live within each of you and ease that pain little by little. You are her legacy, and each of you of lots to live up to. Make her proud of you as you are of her. I will be in Arizona all that week and don't get in until late afternoon on Sat the 4th, I would be there if possible, but know of my love for you.

I have not experienced the loss of my mother and I have no idea how heavy your heart must be at this time.
I want you to know that I send you love and peace as you walk through this experience- even if we haven't crossed paths for quite a long while.
I never forgot what an authentic chick you are!!!!!
