Jeanette Todd passed away sweetly in her sleep at home from complications of Addison’s disease on 21 August 2016. She was born 30 June 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the third child of Chester Moray and Mabel Haymore Todd. She attended Columbus, Irving Junior, South High, and the University of Utah, earning bachelors’ degrees in sociology and elementary education. Her career was in banking. She served in the North German Mission for the LDS Church. Jeanette served in her callings faithfully and especially enjoyed teaching Relief Society for the last ten years. She had a reverent connection with God’s creations—from spiders to birds to dogs and cats to zoo and farm animals. Her life was a life of service to her younger siblings and later to nieces and nephews. Her siblings honor her for her gentle, selfless, and daily care for her parents. For the past eleven years, since Chester’s passing, she has been Mabel’s friend and companion besides a dutiful and loving daughter. She is survived by her mother, four sisters—Marilynne Linford (Richard), Eileen Moore (Wayne), Rochelle Biesinger (Mark), Sheila Smith (James), two brothers—Clinton H. (Lori) and Russell H. (Janette), thirty-nine nieces and nephews and seventy-eight great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and dear brother Douglas H. Todd.

A service will be held Saturday, 27 August 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Nibley Park Ward, 2450 South 600 East, Salt Lake City, Utah, where viewings will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment Salt Lake Cemetery.
