Pappa:

Your own children, grandchiildren, and great grandchildren got the very best part of you: Your work ethic, your honor, and missions served having followed your example.. 100% of your grandchildren have college degrees, temple marriages, and you have beautiful great grandchiildren whom are walking in your footsteps. How is this failure?

You have left a beautiful legacy in your seed, . I have received many, many condolences from around the world, especially Finland where you built several churches with mom. They still remember you from Jyvaskyla! You are loved and remembered worldwide. Go figure.

I was saddened to not read anything of Leif's greatest accomplishment of his mission in Finland with his wife Inga-Lill and their lovely children. I served under Leif while he built three church in Jyvaskyla, Turku, and Kuopiio. Tulemme kaipaamaan teitä, huumoria, ja johtajuutta. Rakastamme sinua.

Leif will be greatly missed by our family. He was very special to us, as is all of the family. My husband -Lysle- and Leif would have a great time talking Swedish together and singing Swedish songs and most of the time I wasn't sure what they were saying, but, they had fun together. They are probably chatting together now.
My prayers and Love are with all of you at this time.

Our deepest condolences to Leif's family. Leif was an instant friend to us when we moved into the neighborhood and we loved to converse about living in Europe and to practice our German with him. He was a great man who was devoted to the his family and the gospel of Jesus Christ. May you all find peace and joy in reflecting on his live and service.

Our condolences to Leif's Family and Extended Family. Leif will live in our hearts and memories as a good, caring, kind soul who went out of his way to show love and kindness to others, especially thankful for his and Clyda's continuous caring of their Nieces and Nephews after the passing of Clyda's sister Joyce. We can see the great job they did raising such wonderful good hearted girls that Elizabeth and Rachael have turned out to be. Leif will surely be missed. Our prayers and hugs to the Family! Love, Uncle Bruce, Mabel and Sandy.
