Lois Perschon Jones returned home to her Heavenly Father on February 2, 2016.  Born August 15, 1929 to Berth Zaugg and Walter H. Perschon, she was their second oldest child and their oldest daughter.  She was taught at a very young age the importance of family.  She took care of her younger siblings and learned how to work with children from this experience.  Lois was a happy, active, independent person.  She married the love of her life, Charles Dean Jones, on June 12, 1950 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple by Harold B. Lee.  Lois and Dean made their home in SLC with their three children:  Charly, Scott and Jacque.  She considered her greatest blessing was her family!  She loved to attend school, church and social events that her immediate and extended family were part of.  She was an active member of the LDS church, and valued all her callings in the church, she was especially fond of her Primary callings.  She was proud of the fact that she learned many skills at the jobs she held which enabled her to help care for her family.  She made many dear friends during her working career

Working in the garden with her rose bushes was one of her past times.  She loved to sew and crochet, and she was always making baby clothes, booties, and blankets to give to friends and family.  These items are admired and loved.  She was known for her baking and homemade candy; especially her zucchini bread, peanut brittle, divinity and cookies-which she love to give to those who needed a smile.  Later in life Lois had the opportunity to travel.  Visiting her grandkids:  Amber, Tiffany, Alexander and Joshua in different parts of the US was a highlight, and traveling with her dear friend Judy Brady to many National Parks and Monuments.

Lois is survived by her children: Charles(Deborah), Scott and Jacquelynn.  Grandchildren:  Amber(Derek), Tiffany(Joseph), Alexander(Jessica) and Joshua.  Eight great-grandchildren:  Miles, Emily, Hailey, Thomas, Clayton, Eleanor, Paige and Madeline.  Brothers Albert (Elvira), Richard(Kathleen) and sister MaryJoyce(William).  Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dean, and her oldest brother David (Hazel).

The family wishes to thank for their loving service:  Richard and Kathleen Perschon, Charlene Robinson, Debbie Olson, Judy Brady, Annette Brinton, Wes and Julie Snow.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Springview LDS Ward, 3153 South 900 East, where friends may visit with the family from 11:30am to 12:30pm prior to the services at the church. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Online memories and tributes can be posted for the family to read at: www.HolbrookMortuary.com
