Sorry I was not able to attend Friday and share this loss with friends - sorrier I have to grieve on my own. Friday 6-8 is when my wheelchair fencers and seated able-bodied fencers practice together. I know Bill "Sub for Santa" Orr approves my choice. I will always be appreciative of Bill's support when I was a 'greenie' scientist in Hercules' R&D department, and he helped me learn the ropes. He was always a go-to guy. Thanks Bill.

Sister Orr and Family,

I am sorry I cannot attend Bill's funeral because of my health conditions. Bill and I worked in the same department at Hercules Aerospace, Bacchus Works. Some of the people you work with you remember years after retirement. Bill is one of the people I remember because of his personality and the professional way he handled his job assignments at Hercules.
For several years I supervised the two technicians that worked on the MHD project under Bill's direction. They and myself had great respect for Bill's guidance and direction of this important project.
After we retired, I was in contact with Bill as he served on the retirement committee. I have always enjoyed my association with Bill during our working and retirement years.
May you and your children be blessed with the peace and comfort that our Savior Jesus Christ can provide us as we grieve the loss of a loved one.

Dear Aunt Elaine, Lisa, Steven, Michael and Matt,
I am so sorry about your Husband/Dad's passing. I have very found memories of Uncle Bill. He is very smart and we always had great conversations. He is the first person who got me interested in good nutrition. He has a great sense of humor and was lots of fun. He loved all of you well! May God continue to hold you up during this hard time and give you comfort as you share memories of his life with one another. Take time to grieve. Sending lots of hugs! Diane
