This is 5 years too late but I only learned today of Ralph's passing. When I was only 11 years old my mother hired Ralph to give me golf lessons. I had the time of my life learning the fundamentals of golf from a PGA pro and Ralph was a kind a patient instructor. Many prayers to your family all the way from St Paul the Apostle Catholic Parish in Joliet Illinois.

What an honor it has been for me to know Ralph. He simply radiated good will, cheerfulness, friendly charm. When I heard he was going to the Washington D.C WWII memorial trip - I just knew HE would be the ONE that was interviewed. Those who knew him were fortunate to share in his "wonderful life". I will remember forever his determination and spirit. May the love of friends, family and memories bring comfort

We send our deepest Sympathy to Annette and family. The wonderful smiling photo of Ralph brings back so many heartwarming memories of a long and close friendship with Ralph. What a superb photo of "classy" Ralph.

There are so many "Ralph" stories from back during his Park City days and after, innumerable "sayings"/jokes plus the memorable special visits and get-togethers throughout the years.

Just a few months ago, Ralph and Sterling came to visit me (Woody) in the SLC Hospital and also the SLC Rehab facility; the visits cheered me up tremendously. I told him that he NEVER seemed to age or get any older.

We are so very sorry we could not be in Utah for his Celebration if Life, Ralph touched so many many people during his lifetime and alway gave each and everyone a lot of his warmth and joy of life. We shall always remember "Ace" with loving thoughts for his friendship and grand times spent with him - a very special gentleman.

May God's Blessings surround you all with each passing day..

Dear Annette and Family,

For 16 years we have had the pleasure and honor to live next to you and Ralph. I must say, my kids are much better people for know both of you. I know the smiles he brought to each of us each time we visited with him. What an amazing man he was and still is. I know right now he is on the other side visiting with all about his experiences and his life. I know for sure they will hear about all the roads he took to remote places that brought him joy. I do not remember a day of him not smiling. My best memories are of him and our chickens. I think he loved them more than my kids did! We will miss him but we know he is continuing on his path back home to our Heavenly Father. Our condolences and love to you and your family. What an inspiration he was to each of us!

Dear Annette, Cheryl and Brenda,
How we loved Ralph and love you all so much. Ralph was a great friend and someone we looked up to. His constant upbeat attitude and positive outlook was always present. We enjoyed our visits with him, He kept us grounded to the plain and simple things in life. We will miss him so much. We wish we could be there for the celebration of his life, but we will be thinking of him and of you on Saturday. We are thankful for our friendships and look forward to renewing them with Annette, Cheryl and Brenda when we return to Salt Lake in January 2018.
Much Love,
Elder David and Sister Karen Fuhriman

Ralph Emery was loved by everyone who spent five minutes with him. He was a rare individual of immense sensitivity, kindness, and gentleness. His vocal chords were made of compassion, patience, and love and were never off key. He spoke with a softness that was music to the soul.

If golf holes were character traits, he aced them all.

I'm very proud to be related to this man. He is my grandmother's cousin. He was the definition of a golf professional and a great man. I have great memories of the 9 holes in Park City. He will be missed

Condolences to the family on your loss. Ralph will always be a person and golf pro that I admire greatly!! He and his brother Clare toured the links at Nibley with my dad and his brother almost daily in their youth. I will miss my visits with him and learning life lessons and golf philosophy. Sorry for your loss!!

I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to your family. As Psalms 90:10 says, he was truly blessed with strength to have lived such a long life. In your time of sorrow, may God comfort your hearts. 2 Thessalonians 2:16,17
