Dear Lawrence Family,

I just found out about the passing of your sweet father - what a wonderful reunion I'm sure it was with your beautiful mother. I loved them both so much and am so grateful for their wonderful example and the great impact they have had on my life. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I would love to keep in touch with your family.

Love you all,
Leslie (Headman) Booth

I was catching up on reading obituaries, and saw that Ray had passed away. I looked back farther when I saw that Gayle had also passed. I send my love and condolences to the family, I loved those two people!! Perhaps they will meet my husband and reconnect with one another. We appreciated this wonderful couple!!

Ray was a special person in my life. He was my friend and employer when I was but a lad in high school (25 years ago). He taught me many important skill and life lessons. Because of his patience and thoughtfulness, I was able to apply the skills he taught me to build my own home. He encouraged me to get and education and stay active in my church.
I have often thought of the life lessons he had taught me.
My love and sympathy to each member of the family.
Respectfully,
Todd Bailey

I want to offer my sincere condolences to the family. I am so very sorry for your loss. Our Heavenly father in His word the Bible, calls death an enemy (1Cor. 15:26). He promises in the very near future to do away with death. (Rev. 21:4, 5) At that time tragedies and accidents will be a thing of the past, and no one will ever get sick (Isaiah 33:24), and there will be a reuniting, a bringing back to life instead of losing life (John 5:28,29). I hope these words can give you some comfort and hope. (2 Cor. 1:3, 4) Once again I am so sorry for your loss.

Bishop Ray Lawerence was the most loving and caring bishop. He convinced my parents to purchase a home in the ward and like Brad Allen helped me so much as a youth through my challenges and trials. Gayle and Ray were a wonderful example of love and respect, as were Julie, Doug and David. Love you Bishop!
