I started at Sperry in 1982 as a co-op in Engineering and worked with Mal for a period of time. He was so willing to teach and was also so patient. He was a great example to me of what a great engineer should be. My heart goes out to you as his family. We will all miss him.

Mal and I and Judy were co-workers at Sperry (now L-3 Com). We used to go to outside lunch together weekly for some 30 years and continued to do so after he retired. He kept up this tradition for years later until he no longer could haul those oxygen bottles. We'll miss him dearly.
