Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Tresa Rae Tennant Chamberlain passed away at her home on December 26, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah - after a nearly three-year battle with ovarian cancer. Born October 25, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joseph Max and Ruth Lavena Brackett Tennant. Tresa Married Stephen Lawrence Chamberlain on September 24, 1981. They were married for 35 years and look forward to an eternity together.

Tresa was preceded in death by her father and mother, as well as her brother Joseph Max Tennant as well as her brother-in-law Charles Clark. She was survived by her husband Steve and their four children, and their spouses and children: Amber (and Todd Hooper); Whitney (Matt Vandermyde - and their children Tanner (8), Kaden (6) Skyler (4), and Levi (1)); Max (Kelsey); and Elise (Ben Bowen) as well as her brother Brent (Jodi), and her 8 sisters, Susan (Stuart Waldrip), Sally Clark, Becky (Bob Kristiansen), Jan (Dave Swope), Julie (Bill Hamilton), Helen (Chris Cummings), Dawn (Cam Brown), and Alice (Brett Wight).

Tresa was a creator. She created beautiful art, pottery, amazing camps, events, weddings, and family reunions. But her true specialty was creating friendships and memories. Tresa filled and brightened every room with her laughter and gave out hugs and smiles without hesitation. She lived for her relationships with others and had true, deep friendships with people of all ages and walks of life. She made every person feel as though they were her favorite - and they truly were. She loved freely and deeply, and because of that uninhibited love, was able to connect to so many people during her time on this earth.

Tresa enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. She made every day an adventure and brought fun and laughter to every situation. She loved God, her husband, her children, their spouses, and her grandchildren - they were all the greatest joys of her life. We will all miss her hugs, her winning smile, and her contagious laughter. But we rejoice in knowing that all those beautiful aspects of her are now filling the heavens.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday December 30, 2016 at the East Millcreek Stake Center, 3103 East Craig Drive (3600 South) where friends may visit with the family on Thursday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the church and also on Friday morning from 9:30am to 10:30am prior to service at the church. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Messages to the family can be made at www.holbrookmortuary.com.
