Until I met Don and his family, I had never conceived of the kindness that would take strangers into their home to live. This generosity, and above the world characteristics, was both sincere and freely given. If one's life is measured by the positive change they help create in another's life, Don's measurement can be multiplied many times.

Lori, we just learned this afternoon of your father's passing! We have gone through the same thing in the same year! We didn't know him, but we know and love you and will be at the viewing tonight and at least I will be at the funeral tomorrow. I hope this is a good thing for you, as it was for us with Dad/Lynn. Because your mom is still alive, that probably changes the dynamic a lot. We look forward to talking with you and Gary and to seeing how all of you are doing. Love you!
